Nairobi

The capital of Kenya, Nairobi, is known for both its proximity to nature and its urban offerings. The Kenyatta International Conference Centre is a 28-story building with an observation deck offering fascinating views of the city. At the same time, the Nairobi National Museum is filled with cultural and national exhibits, including local art and fossils, as well as stuffed birds, mammals, and more. At the edge of the city is Nairobi National Park, the first of its kind in Kenya, and it is a breeding place for rhinos and features lions, zebras, and more. There is also a rehabilitation center for elephants; visitors can come face-to-face with giraffes at the Giraffe Center. Furthermore, Nairobi is known as the gateway for some of the most famous safaris in the world, including the Masaai Mara National Reserve and Amboseli National Park, situated in front of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
