VistaJet Introduces a Private Jet Experience for Your Pets!
Private jet flyers know how to avoid all of the “inhumane” treatment of flying commercial. If you think you are treated like an “animal” on a commercial flight – just think how bad it can be for real animals, who are often treated no better than cargo!
However, our four-legged friends weren’t treated much better on private flights, many of which still have restrictions to all but certified support animals. That is until now.
VistaJet - the global business aviation company – has announced the launch of VistaPet. This new service from VistaJet was created to ensure all passengers feel welcome – even if they are a dog, or cat, or hamster, or iguana.
One in four VistaJet members flies regularly with their loyal companions, and around 30 million people travel with their pets each year. There was a 47% increase in the number of dogs flying onboard VistaJet in 2018 against the previous year. It was numbers like those that prompted the creation of VistaPet, which is not simply allowing VistaJet clients to travel with their four-legged (or winged!) friends. Pampered pets are given their own 5-star luxury program that includes a four-week training class for dogs that have a natural fear of flying!
First Class Flying for Fido!
FAA regulations still require that that animals are kept on a leash or in a travel cage for take-off and landing, but during the flight VistaPets can relax by their owner’s side on a handmade Labbvenn sleep mat. Each pet-owner is provided with a bag of exclusive treats, called the VistaPet Pochette, to take care of pets during and after a flight. It contains organic pet food, reward treats created by Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux, water-free shampoo, fur-care wipes, and rope toys. Cabin Hostesses can even offer natural flower essences to mix with pets’ drinking water to aid relaxation during the flight. All of these animal amenities combine to make the flight with VistaJet and your pet unforgettable and comfortable.
As part of the program VistaJet’s customer service team will advise VistaPet members of pet-friendly facilities and partners all around the globe – whether they require a pet hotel in London, the best pet salon in New York or a photography session to capture moments with pets around the world. The team can also assist in finding pet walkers and trainers, or suggest unforgettable experiences including pet yoga, rafting, and surfing.
